Hello beloved backers,

The art prints finally arrived, a bit later than I'd anticipated but they look spectacular. Check 'em out:

Art prints on display

So I've started fulfilment. Here is a pile of 100 books:

100 books, including a slightly damaged one to the right which got taken out of the fulfilment pile

If your address is changing, please let me know asap! And drop me a line when you get your copy :)

Thanks,

Charlie

Please complete your Backerkit survey!

Hi wonderful backers,

You should have received an email from "Backerkit". Please check your junk mail folder if you don't see it. It contains a link to a survey that you need to complete in order to receive your Kickstarter rewards.

The Backerkit survey will ask for your address (if you pledged for the book) and other details. You'll also be able to add extra copies of the book and/or extra art prints if you wish. Postage is free for any extras that you order!

If you didn't get the Backerkit email, or you have any other questions, please contact me at [email protected]

Look 👀 - the books arrived today!

This is about one sixth of the books. Many boxes!

I will allow a couple of weeks for everyone to complete the Backerkit survey, and then I'll start fulfillment. UK backers should expect to receive their rewards in the second half of June. International backers will take a couple of months longer because I'm using surface mail to minimise postage costs. Thanks for your patience.

Expect another update in a couple of weeks! (And, for backers in the UK, happy Jubilee!)

That's a wrap! Woohooooooo!

Thank you thank you thank you for your support! I'm over the moon that we met all the stretch goals and I'm able to deliver something really special to you all.

Me looking goofy, clearly inspired by a certain multiverse film I just watched at the cinema...

The campaign is over - so what's next?

1. Your pledges will be collected.

2. Please expect an email from "Backerkit", probably sometime next week, with a survey that will allow you to confirm your rewards, provide your address, and (if relevant) to choose which art prints you want to receive. This survey will also give you an opportunity to add extra signed copies of the book and/or extra art prints if you want.

3. I will then do a whole bunch of maths and ordering stuff, and when it all arrives I'll be signing and stuffing envelopes etc. - I'll send y'all another update once everything is in the post.

4. When you get your goodies (probably a couple of months from now, or much sooner for UK backers), let me know what you think!

Rock on,

Charlie

Home stretch - vote which new art print you would like to see!

Five days left of the campaign! Thank you a thousand times for helping me make this dream come true.

You can still change your pledge at any time, until Friday 20 May when the campaign ends and your pledges will be charged. At that point, I'll send you a "Backerkit" survey so that your can give me your address, choose which art prints you want, etc. depending on your pledge level.

Amazingly, it looks possible that we'll meet the final stretch goal! If you know of anyone else who might be interested in pledging, please share this campaign with them to help push us over the edge.

If we do reach the final stretch goal, I'll add one more option for the raised-ink art prints. That'll make EIGHT illustrations to choose from (you can see them all on the main page).

Here's where I need your help. Below is a bunch of other illustrations that will feature in the book. Which of the below illustrations is your favourite? Vote now by responding to this update!

Dreadful Penny - An eldritch penny goes kaiju
The Cut - An African woman about to cleave a terrified snake
Do Not Pass Go - Monopoly being played on an oversized heart
Go - A game of go being played on a calendar, with time running out
How To Get Anything You Want - Bubble bath domination
Second Place - An unexpected chess move
Schrödinger's Baby - I don't know if I've got an alive baby or a dead baby until I can open this bloody door!
